He received the MADD 2010 DUI Enforcement Award at the organization’s annual award banquet in Phoenix on February 12, 2010.

For more than seven years, Officer Mike Chase has been assigned to work as a member of the DUI Enforcement Squad in the Phoenix Police Department’s Traffic Bureau. His unwavering work ethic earned him the respect of his peers as well as others in his line of work. He has continually led his squad in the number of DUI arrests made and citations issued.

During the last quarter of 2009 and into early 2010, Officer Chase was responsible for arresting 93 DUI suspects and issued 549 citations, accounting for 51 percent of the total number of DUI arrests made and 40 percent of the total number of citations issued by his squad. Chase posed with MADD and Phoenix Police representatives after receiving the prestigious award.
