What's New!
Green Homes Web Site
As many green building practices and technologies have yet to make a dent in the existing residential market, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the Green Homes Web Site to address this need. A new resource for home owners, buyers and renters to help make their homes greener, the Web site provides guidance on approaches to greening each room of the home and the surrounding yard, as well as new home construction.
In addition, the Agency announced new requirements for audio/video (AV) products to earn the Energy Star label and save Americans more than $1 billion in energy costs annually.
For more information, visit http://www.epa.gov/greenhomes and http://www.energystar.gov/av, respectively.
